Orion
Here is most of the constellation Orion which highlights the location of some beautiful nebula. The left most of the 3 easily identified "belt stars" Alnitak is also home the the dark Horsehead Nebula nestled in a red emission nebula. The Great Nebula of Orion is directly below in the "sword" area and the more faint and larger red emission nebula arching on the left is known as Barnard's Loop. |
