IC2177 & vdB93
IC2177 is the broad sweeping emission nebula across the lower half of the image and the brighter bluish nebula above (vdB93) is a mixture of emission and reflection nebula with a distinctive dust lane only visible through larger scopes with narrow band filters. This grouping is found in the constellation Monoceros. |
