The Heart Nebula (IC1805)
This crop of the Heart Nebula (IC1805) in the constellation Cassiopeia is an interesting area with a bright and pretty open star cluster called Melotte 15 embedded in its center. The expansive emission nebula comprising IC1805 extends loosely in a heart shape and has complex structures in the brighter areas. IC1805 lies in an area filled with nebula complexes and star clusters. |
